Tirupati: Nellore rural assembly constituency is taking significant strides in terms of development with about 339 development works mooted with an outlay of Rs 41 crore is in the final stages of completion and is set to be inaugurated on May 15.
Addressing a press conference in Nellore on Sunday, TDP legislator Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy asserted that the 339 development works initiated across the district were being completed within a record span of 60 days.
While the main project at Kallurpalli housing board colony main road would be inaugurated by state municipal administration minister P Narayana and Nellore MP Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy on May 15, all other development works will be inaugurated by local NDA leaders across the Nellore rural assembly constituency on the same day.
The MLA announced to release a comprehensive booklet providing an overview of the 339 developmental works with photographs, including details of their cost and location as an act of transparency.
Sridhar Reddy thanked Chief minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu for providing all the necessary support to take up such a large number of development activities at one go and for providing the financial assistance for the completion of all the projects within the stipulated timeframe.
Meanwhile, state IT and HRD minister Nara Lokesh appreciated Sridhar Reddy's commitment in fulfilling the election-eve promises and taking development to the doorsteps of the people. In his X post, he called Nellore rural as the ‘address for development' and called it the power of NDA alliance govt in the state.
