Following a recent terror attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir, which resulted in the tragic loss of 26 Indian tourists, Pakistan's Olympic javelin champion Arshad Nadeem's Instagram account has been blocked in India. This action comes as the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi vows to bring the perpetrators to justice and strengthen the nation's resolve against terrorism.

NEW DELHI: Pakistan’s Olympic javelin champion Arshad Nadeem’s Instagram account was blocked in India on Wednesday evening, just days after a terror attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir, that claimed the lives of 26 Indian tourists.
Visitors to Arshad’s Instagram profile were met with a blank page.

“Account not available in India. This is because we complied with a legal request to restrict this content,“ the message on the page read when opened Nadeem's account.

However, Instagram accounts of several Pakistani cricketers — including Babar Azam, Shahid Afridi, Mohammad Amir, Mohammad Rizwan, and Shaheen Shah Afridi — remain accessible in India.

“Those behind this heinous act will be brought to justice,” the Prime Minister Narendra Modi had said in a post on X (formerly Twitter).
“Our resolve to fight terrorism is unshakable and it will get even stronger,” he had said.
