The Chamber Chaos: CM Punk Encountered Technical Difficulties at WWE Elimination Chamber

During the WWE Elimination Chamber 2025, CM Punk faced lighting issues when his chamber pod's light malfunctioned, adding humor to the match. Despite entertaining the crowd, Punk was eliminated by John Cena, who gained a spot at WrestleMania 41 to challenge WWE Champion Cody Rhodes.

During the WWE Elimination Chamber match, The Best in the World, CM Punk, had the worst lighting experience as the overhead light in his chamber pod kept falling off. The light continued to malfunction, adding some extra entertainment for the crowd. CM Punk faced defeat against John Cena, which led Cena to earn his spot at WrestleMania.

CM Punk’s technical difficulties steal the show


Elimination Chamber 2025 featured John Cena, CM Punk, Seth Rollins, Logan Paul, Drew McIntyre, and Damian Priest. During the match, The Best in the World encountered some lighting disturbances, adding extra entertainment for the crowd and frustration for Punk. The light on top of Punk's chamber pod fell off when Seth Rollins slammed into it.
Fans chanted "Fix the Light" while enjoying the scenario. Punk himself put the light back in its position in between the intense match. Punk eventually made his way to the match before being eliminated by John Cena. Punk encountered a setback because of a stomp by Rollins, making it easier for John Cena to lock Punk in the STF until he passed out. This move secured John Cena's victory over CM Punk, earning him a spot at WrestleMania 41.

In the Elimination Chamber, after Drew McIntyre and Seth Rollins were removed from the ring, Cena and Punk hugged each other, but it quickly built up into an exchange of punches. After an intense match between the two, Rollins surprisingly came in and delivered a Curb Stomp to Punk, lessening his strength.

John Cena attempted an STF submission until Punk passed out. Punk was declared eliminated by the referee, giving John Cena his fourth victory at the WWE Elimination Chamber. Cena is set to face WWE Champion Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania, making WWE fans even more fascinated to watch and see who will be the winner at WWE WrestleMania 41.
