He made the analogy because of the way Curry stepped up and took the team out of a difficult situation, leading to its 121-116 win against the Grizzlies. While appreciating Curry, he said:
“Batman comes out of nowhere. You never see him coming. Then they just fall from the sky, from a building behind the door… and he does some incredible things, man. We all know that, but we’ve got to protect him at all costs.”
