Shai Gilgeous-Alexander spoke with all heart about the Oklahoma City Thunder’s strengths that led them to win in Game 5. He attributed the team’s success to mutual understanding and cohesiveness, and explained other factors that worked in their favor. Expressing his thoughts on the driving force that worked behind the team’s success, he highlighted the cohesiveness factor that runs through the team. Sharing his thoughts on the importance of teamwork leading to a win, he said:“Uh it's a team sport. No one guy can do it. I need Chat. Chat needs me. We both need Dove and Hart and K Rich and so forth and so on. Like we all need each other.”Further, he said, “Obviously, he's a really talented guy. He was asked, “Your coach talks about the confidence of this team and you all do to a man also the depth of this team to be able to play 10 players consistently in the second round of the playoffs. How significant is that for you all?”To which, he replied, “Yeah, very uh we're fresh because of it. We like to play we like to play fast. So being fresh helps and it just a different personnel to throw at people. It ultimately makes us all stronger. You know, you're only you're only as good as your weakest link. All 10 of our guys are ready to go no matter the stage and you guys see it every night.
