After taking a low blow at Tom Brady’s ex-wife Gisele Bündchen on Twitter, AB followed it up by posting an old Instagram DM from Brady, trying to frame it as a recent response. But fans weren’t buying it, and now they’re calling out AB for clout-chasing and dragging Brady’s personal life for no reason.

AB took a cheap shot at Brady’s ex-wife and then tried to “expose” Tom with an old DM

On May 1, Antonio Brown dropped yet another disrespectful tweet aimed at his former quarterback, Tom Brady. He wrote:
"Tom Brady tried to hold me back once he realized his wife was on D**K 😂"

It was a nasty reference to Brady’s ex-wife Gisele Bündchen and old rumors about her dating life post-divorce, specifically, her relationship with jiu-jitsu trainer Joaquim Valente. Gisele has already publicly denied any cheating allegations, saying “that is a lie” in a March 2024 New York Times interview.

But AB didn’t stop there. To make it even messier, he posted a screenshot of a direct message from Brady, seemingly suggesting it was Brady’s reaction to the tweet.
The Instagram DM from Brady looked supportive, even caring. It said things like:
“Please don’t miss your psychologist appointments”
“PHYSICAL – you have mastered… MENTAL – you are very smart… EMOTIONAL – we all need to work on this.”

If it had been a response to AB’s Gisele tweet, it would’ve been the most passive-aggressive roast in NFL history.
But the DM wasn’t recent at all. The profile photo didn’t match Brady’s current one, and the tone clearly didn’t line up with the timeline. AB had reposted an old message, possibly from their playing days and tried to frame it like Brady was calling him out. Nice try, AB.

The internet’s not here for Antonio Brown’s antics anymore

Instead of rallying behind him, the internet clapped back. Fans flooded the replies, calling AB “delusional,” “obsessed,” and “embarrassing.” Some even pointed out that it’s sad how he keeps trying to bait Brady, who hasn’t said a word in response.

Others noted the irony of AB posting a message about needing psychological help… as he publicly spirals again on social media.

Antonio Brown’s obsession with Tom Brady’s personal life isn’t a good look. Whether it’s jealousy, bitterness, or just a desperate need for attention, dragging Gisele and faking receipts only makes AB look worse.
