Conor McGregor seems to be leaving no stone unturned in reforming his spoiled character ahead of his political venture, owing to his past allegations. Recently, the fighter-turned-promoter shared a post on the social media platform, X, that talks about the initiative undertaken by Robert Kennedy Jr. and the CDC to study the link between autism and vaccines. The Irish fighter previously claimed that he has been in constant discussions with Kennedy during his stay in the USA, in light of the rising ratio of autism in Ireland.

Robert Kennedy Jr, CDC undertakes initiative to study the major reason of increasing autism diagnosis

The initiative has been undertaken in light of the massive measles outbreak in the United States. More than 200 cases and two deaths have been reported in Texas and New Mexico. The major reason for his huge outbreak is the declining vaccination rate as a result of parents believing the false alarm that such vaccines do more harm than good. Even though initially, the records were downplayed at a cabinet meeting by US Health Secretary Robert Kennedy Jr., the seriousness of the situation has been realized recently.HHS and CDC issued a joint statement on Friday, April 4, 2025, that talked about the initiative undertaken by both the bodies. "CDC will leave no stone unturned in its mission to figure out what exactly is happening. The American people expect high quality research and transparency and that is what CDC is delivering."
While studies have claimed that autism is linked with maternal factors in pregnancy, birth complications and timing, many other scientists believe that vaccines play a major role in the rise of autism diagnosis since 2000.Dr. Wilbur Chen, a professor at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and former member of the CDC's vaccine advisory panel stated, "It sends the signal that there is something there that is worth investigating, so that means there must be something going on between vaccines and autism,"Following the recent chain of events, after CDC undertook the initiative for study to explore the link between vaccine and autism, Conor McGregor immediately reacted to the decision and stated, “And we’re off! Let us see. Let the truth, whatever it may be, be revealed! Bravo @RobertKennedyJr!”
The Notorious was contended with the fact that his long drawn conversation with Kennedy finally yielded some kind of a result. According to the fighter, 1 out of 20 children in Ireland was affected by autism and over 30,000 families were affected.“I had lengthy meetings with @RobertKennedyJr on autism and vaccines while in the USA and it was shocking to say the least. 1 in 20 of our children in Ireland are affected with Autism. 1 in 20! Staggering! That is over 30,000 families affected, not including extended family and friends who play their role in supporting daily.”
