Tom Brady to rekindle romance with Irina Shayk? A look at their dating history

Looks like Tom Brady has found his ‘same old love’!
While his ex, Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bündchen, has recently been seen in a swimsuit after she gave birth to her third child in February, Brady too seems to have found love again.
The former American football quarterback and supermodel Irina Shayk are reportedly dating again. As per reports, the two have gotten back together.
According to Page Six, a source close to the pair revealed, “Tom and Irina have started dating each other again and are open to seeing where things go.”
However, this is not the first time Tom and Irina’s paths have crossed. The duo dated each other briefly a couple of years back. However, that inning didn’t last long.
The NFL superstar and model were first linked in July 2023, but by October 2023, they seemed to have called it quits. Although neither party publicly confirmed their relationship, in December 2023, they were spotted together again getting ready for a night out in Miami.
Let’s take a look at Brady and Shayk’s ‘history’ together.

It all started with Irina Shayk moving on from Bradley Cooper and Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen calling it quits in late 2022 and early 2023.

Tom and Irina both attended the wedding of "billionaire art heir" Joe Nahmad and Madison Headrick in Italy. Although TMZ claimed that "a number of models were hitting on Tom, and Irina was one of them", Irina’s rep denied so.
Later on, Entertainment Tonight reported that the two "spent time together" and "hit it off" at the wedding and "have been talking for about a month."

As per Page Six, Irina made a "beeline" for Tom at the wedding, and "she followed him around all weekend. She was throwing herself at him." However, her manager hit back with, "This story is completely false. It is a totally malicious and fictional account of the evening."


In July, Tom was spotted at Michael Rubin's Hamptons White Party, where he apparently flirted with Kim Kardashian. However, TMZ reported that Tom and Irina were spotted "cozying up in L.A. over the course of two days" and she spent the night at his place. Along with that, it was also reported that Tom was "seen stroking Irina's cheek—very tenderly."
In July, TMZ reported with confirmation that Tom and Irina "are indeed dating."
Although Gisele’s birthday carousel was everything pretty, she reportedly was “not happy” about Brady dating Shayk. TMZ also claimed that Irina and Gisele were "not friends, but they have known each other professionally for years and have always been cordial when they cross paths."
On the other hand, for Bradley Cooper, a source claimed to The Daily Mail, "To say he is not bothered by this would be a lie. He has been on and off and on with Irina, and he has so much love for her. She is the mother to his girl and they are his two favorite women in the world. He feels that, for the first time, she met someone in Tom that would take her heart away from him forever."

Although it was reported that Tom was still seeing Irina, a source told Us Weekly that "He’ll be spending his birthday with the loves of his life his children."
On the other hand, Page Six reported that Irina was taking steps to protect the relationship with Tom and cutting ties with "loose lipped" friends to "prevent leaks." As a source put it, "she’s afraid any weird rumors might scare him off," she "really wants this to work," and "Brady is her white whale. He’s an all-American nice guy."
Around the same time, the Daily Mail reported that the couple "enjoyed a romantic 48 hour rendezvous in London over the weekend" and were "holed up" at a hotel (which they left separately).
Later in the same month, an insider tells People that the model was "impressed with Tom" and that, "He is her dream guy. She loves dating him." The source also revealed that the two, "work around their schedules and meet up wherever they can...Irina doesn’t mind traveling to see him. She is very excited about their relationship."
However, the major blow came at the end of August, when Irina went on a vacation with Bradley and posted some ‘stunning’ pictures.
As a source told Us Weekly, "Tom has no idea if Irina is still seeing Bradley, but it’s really none of his business. Tom and Irina aren’t in a committed relationship, so she’s free to see anybody she likes." The insider also added that, "Tom has been focused on his kids and his career. He still likes spending time with Irina, but things are still very new."


TMZ reported that Tom and Irina were still dating despite the Bradley Cooper chapter in between. As they put it, "Sources with direct knowledge tell us the couple is, indeed, continuing to date and that they're still romantically involved." They added that despite not seeing them "canoodling in public," they are, in fact, "an item."
The same month, Page Six obtained some photos where Irina was spotted walking into Tom's (likely gorgeous) Tribeca apartment on one afternoon.
An insider also added that the former quarterback reportedly sat in a vehicle outside of his building for approximately 20 minutes before the supermodel arrived in a separate SUV. Irina then apparently took another 10 minutes before making her way into the New York City apartment after the NFL star entered.
Seemed like it had run its course. As per a People source, "Irina was very attracted to Tom. She liked dating him. It excited her. They had fun traveling to see each other. In the end, it kind of just fizzled. They both keep having obligations, and it was getting more difficult to be in the same city at the same time. Irina has nothing but great things to say about Tom."


Wait, it *might* not be over yet!
Irina was seen getting into Tom's car in Miami, prompting speculation that they might still be seeing each other. Another insider added that "there's no drama."

According to a tipster who wrote in to DeuxMoi, Irina and Tom were spotted having dinner together.

According to a source who spoke with Page Six, Irina was looking for love "in Europe and in the USA" after her 'ship with Tom fizzled out. The insider added, "She is shopping, but her dating pool is a tiny group of people. She needs famous, good looking and money. How many of those are there? Five, ten?"
The source also mentioned that Tom Cruise could be a great contender since the actor back then had split with Russian socialite Elsina Khayrova.
However, nothing much was formulated.
A year from then, Tom and Irina once again seem to have that on-again-off-again spark. The duo reportedly has been in contact and may take a trip together, fueling fresh dating rumors. Let’s see how far they go this time!
