Travelling to Bali? As per the recent reports, a volcanic explosion has led to the cancellation of flights from Vietnam. Air travel in the area was severely disrupted due to the recent eruption of Mount Lewotobi Laki Laki in Indonesia, which is located on the island of Flores. Many flights, especially those going to the well-known tourist destination of Bali, were cancelled or delayed as a result of the volcano's eruption, which sent an ash column around 9 kilometres (5.6 miles) into the sky.
Reports add that several airlines, including Jetstar, Qantas, Virgin Australia, Malaysia Airlines, AirAsia, India's IndiGo, and Singapore's Scoot, canceled or rescheduled flights to and from Bali due to safety concerns related to the volcanic ash. Jetstar announced the cancellation of all flights to and from Bali until noon on Thursday, citing unsafe flying conditions. Virgin Australia also followed, and canceled all its Bali flights on Wednesday, to ensure safety of passengers.
