Kaun Banega Crorepati 16: Can you guess the answer for this Rs 25,00,000 question which contestant Arth Chowdhary could not answer?
The latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 16 began with host Amitabh Bachchan introducing contestant Arth Chowdhary from Surat, Gujarat, who is the CEO of a successful drone manufacturing company. Arth spoke about the inspiration behind his business, reminiscing about how a childhood gift—a toy helicopter from his father—ignited his passion for flying machines such as airplanes, helicopters, rockets, and drones. While he initially dreamed of becoming a pilot, he eventually ventured into entrepreneurship.
Seeing the everyday hardships faced by farmers encouraged him to launch a drone business aimed at providing innovative solutions. Today, farmers use drones to spray pesticides on their crops, reducing their direct contact with harmful chemicals and lowering health risks.
Host Amitabh Bachchan continues the game with Arth, who confidently answers the first five questions, securing Rs 10,000. He then moves on to the Super Sawaal round, where he is asked: Who succeeded Sushri Atishi as the Chief Minister of Delhi? Unable to recall the correct name, Arth mistakenly answers Tejal Sharma, whereas the correct response was Mrs. Rekha Gupta. As a result, he misses the chance to win the special superpower, Dugnastraa.
The makers present a short video showcasing Arth’s journey, highlighting how he built his business and the hurdles he overcame along the way. His parents recall how, during his college days, he had requested a loan to start his venture, but they declined. Instead, he asked for Rs 3,500 to attend a college workshop. Arth goes on to share that he built his first drone during his college years and managed to sell it for Rs 10,000.
He further reveals that he co-founded the business with two of his friends, emphasizing that their collective efforts made it all possible. Crediting his success to his team, Arth shares that they started their business in the year 2000 with an initial investment of Rs 5,000. Today, their company boasts a net worth of Rs 150 crores. Their remarkable achievements even earned them a spot on Forbes Under 30. Arth also expresses deep gratitude to his parents for always supporting him through every phase of his life.
For the question of Rs 80,000, Arth uses his first lifeline 'Audience Poll'. Who has scored the most number of fifties in the IPL? He selects the most voted Option C) David Warner.
Next Big B asks the question for Rs 3,20,000. Which of these is a freshwater lake? Arth selects Option B) Wular and wins the amount. Arth faces the questions for Super Sandook round and manages to answer only four questions correctly. Host deposits the money in his account. Feeling thirsty, Arth requests water, and to his surprise, Big B gets up from his chair to personally offer him both water and tissues. Overwhelmed by the kind gesture, the contestant expresses his gratitude, saying, "Sir, main Mahakumbh toh nahi gaya, par aaj meri tripti ho gayi hai."
Arth shares his ambitious plans for the future, revealing his goal to expand his business and launch his company's IPO by 2030. In a lighthearted moment, he even extends an invitation to host Amitabh Bachchan to invest in his company. Amused by the offer, Big B chuckles and responds, "Socha jaayega iske baare mein."
For the question of Rs 12,50,000, he uses his lifelines 'Video Call A Friend' and 'Double Dip'. Which of these legendary Hindi film stars was not born in Peshawar? After much thinking he Selects Option A) Sunil Dutt and it is the correct answer.
Next Big B reads out the question for Rs 25,00,000. According to his autobiography, which word did Mahatma Gandhi misspell in a high school exam, refusing to copy despite his teacher's insistence? As Arth is unaware of the answer and has no lifelines left, he decides to quit the show. Before leaving he selects Option A) Cattle but the correct answer is Option D) Kettle.
Arth takes home Rs 12,50,000.
