The ’90s started, and in 2000, everyone was having a catfight. Kuch bhi bol do (you say anything) and catfight. Today, I mean, you don’t even hear those things, you know. Who knows? It must be happening as a thought, but things are a little different and more chilled out now,” she shared.
She added that back then, it was common for people to pit actors against each other, especially women trying to prove themselves. Looking back at her younger days, Kareena admitted she was in a constant rush to succeed. “I was constantly just rushing… I wanted to just prove myself. I wanted to be the best,” she said. That pressure to be on top, to shine in a competitive industry, was something both Kareena and Priyanka likely felt in those early years. And maybe that’s what led to all the fiery headlines.
