Kartik is a big fan of Akshay Kumar: Anees Bazmee- Exclusive

The hit duo of Anees Bazmee and Kartik Aaryan are reuniting for the third installment of the Bhool Bhulaiyaa series. This time, the stakes are even higher for multiple reasons: first, the second part was a roaring success grossing more than Rs 260 crore across the globe ; second, Vidya Balan is returning to the series; and third, it will clash with Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn’s Singham Returns on November 1st and the final being the presence of Madhuri Dixit-Nene.

Speaking about his leading actor, Bazmee says, "There has been a lot of growth and improvement in Kartik. He is a director's actor, and one can get many lovely and beautiful performances from him because he is extremely hardworking. He knows his craft and excels in every genre, whether it's comedy, dance, action, drama, or emotion. He’s a complete actor. I’m very happy with his performance, and I think people are going to like him a lot in the film."
Bhool Bhulaiyaa as a series was kickstarted by Akshay Kumar with Priyadarshan but was later carried forward by Anees Bazmee and Kartik Aaryan. Opening up about how Akshay differs from Kartik, the director says, "A lot of people were saying that we replaced Akshay with Kartik, but that’s not true. Kartik is a complete actor, and no one can take his place. His performances in comedy are superlative. Plus, Kartik himself is a big fan of Akshay. He’s young, energetic, and completely immersed in his films."

The Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 trailer is expected to hit the internet on October 9th.
