Ajaz Khan summoned over obscene content in 'House Arrest' OTT show

Amboli Police have summoned actor Ajaz Khan for questioning regarding objectionable scenes in the web series 'House Arrest.' A case was registered against Khan, Rajkumar Pandey, and others following a complaint by a VHP functionary. The FIR alleges the show used obscene language and depicted women in an indecent manner, violating several laws.

MUMBAI: Amboli Police have summoned actor Ajaz Khan to record his statement in connection with a case registered against him and others regarding certain objectionable scenes in the web series 'House Arrest.'
Police said Khan could visit the police station on Tuesday or Wednesday to record his statement.

An FIR was registered on May 2 against Khan, Rajkumar Pandey, and others from Ullu Digital under provisions of Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, the Information Technology Act, and the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act.
The FIR was registered based on a complaint filed by a VHP functionary. The complaint states that the show hosted by Khan, produced by Pandey, and streamed on the digital platform used obscene language and showed obscene scenes featuring women.
