Indian Idol Season 12 winner singer Pawandeep Rajan met with a serious car accident in Ahmedabad early on Monday, May 5, 2025. The accident is reported to have occurred at about 3:40 a.m., and the singer is critically injured, with his treatment by doctors already going viral on social media in the form of a video.
Pawandeep is visibly suffering in the video, with visible injuries on his left foot and right arm. A prodigy in music himself, Pawandeep won the Youngest Tabla Player Award when he was only 2 years old.
Before his Indian Idol win, Pawandeep was already famous after winning The Voice India in 2015 as a contestant of singer Shaan's team and winning ₹50 lakh prize money and a car. Pawandeep won Indian Idol 12.
