“Cold-blooded but iconic”: Taylor Swift’s old Instagram post resurfaces amid friendship drama and fans think she knew who’d stay "loyal"

Taylor Swift, the billionaire pop star, has been struggling with friendships due to the controversies she has found herself in. At one time, the pop sensation was Blake Lively’s best friend, and now it has been months since the two were spotted together due to the Justin Baldoni legal drama. Amidst all the mess, Taylor Swift’s old post on Instagram has resurfaced, which fans feel that she always knew how to cut off her friends and fans are here for it.


The resurfaced post that went viral on X is a screenshot of a post that Taylor Swift had made for Selena Gomez. Back in 2014, at the American Music Awards, Taylor Swift posted a picture as she hugged Selena Gomez.
The post on X shows that Taylor Swift had actually cropped out her former best friend Karlie Kloss and added the caption, “The rest of the world was black and white, but we were in screaming color” and fans are here for it.

For the unversed, Karlie Kloss and Taylor Swift were often spotted together in the early 2010s and were considered best friends. In 2015, they also posed together for the cover of Vogue Magazine.
But soon there were rumours of an argument between the two and Taylor Swift was not spotted at both of Karlie Kloss’ wedding even though neither of them has addressed how their friendship broke.

As per Life & Style, Taylor Swift might have found a new friend in Sabrina Carpenter. A source said, “In a lot of ways, Taylor is a mentor to Sabrina, she’s someone she looks up to and really admires but it goes a lot deeper than that, they’re genuinely friends.”
The source added, “They text and talk all the time. When Sabrina has a new song that she’s working on she’ll send snippets to Taylor to get her feedback.”
